Kevin Mount

From SoCal, having been in has been in rally since 2004. 2025 is Kevin's first time at OTR. He love the people rally. It’s like a family reunion at every event.

At a rally, Ham Blockage volunteers are responsible for securing road access points along a stage to ensure no vehicles enter once the stage is live. Positioned at intersections, driveways, or access roads, they use amateur radio to stay in constant contact with stage officials, reporting their status and any issues immediately. Ham Blockage plays a critical safety role—protecting competitors, volunteers, and the public—especially in remote areas where cell service is unreliable and clear communication is essential.

"For TECH getting 80+ car through, comprehensively, in the time frame was fairly hectic."

"HAM Blockage seeing all the cars go by at speed (in anger) was fantastic and had an off right in front of us. No injuries besides ego."

"My guys and I are very involved with a couple regional events, Prescott and Ridge. We made the commitment to go to OTR to help and to learn.

2000 plus miles of fun, learning and education was had."

"Without volunteers we wouldn’t be able to race. I love rally and want it to not just survive but to flourish in the states."
