From Forest Grove, OR, Kiersten McClure is the office manager at Primitive Racing. She first joined Oregon Trail Rally in 2016 as a crew member, and now co-drives car #369 and #286.

In Kiersten's own words

"What makes events like OTR so meaningful to me is the people. There’s something really special about the way the rally community comes together — it feels like a big, welcoming family. Even if you've never met someone before, they’ll help you without hesitation. The kindness, support, and genuine care people show each other out there is unlike anything I’ve experienced, and it’s what keeps me coming back."

"It’s the sense of belonging that keeps me coming back. No matter how much time passes, every time I show up it feels like coming home. The connections, the camaraderie, and the way everyone looks out for each other—it’s something truly rare. And it’s not just about being in a car, part of a crew, or volunteering. It’s about being surrounded by people from every walk of life, all coming together for something we love. That kind of community is hard to find, and even harder to walk away from."
