In Mitch's own words

"I am currently racing with Tabor Racing Team. They are a third generation rally family rich in history. Our current rally car is arguably the oldest and most consecutive competing vehicle in the ARA series. I believe it is on its 5th logbook.

OTR is an extremely challenging and fast paced event. Nothing comes easy and you have to work hard to get a finish."

"Last year here we had a crash at 80 MPH and subsequently got a DNF, so a lot of showing up and competing was facing the fear of a repeat performance."

"Rally is about persistence and perseverance. My current teammate and I have not had the smoothest of events. Up until our finish here in 2025, we have done 2 rallies and had two major crashes that caused a DNF, one causing an injury to me. Yet we still put in the work to prep the car, show up and challenge ourselves, create core memories in the process, and put on a show for the fans."

"It’s the people and community. So many life long friendships have been forged here. Hard not to show up for those people and to create new meaningful relations as well."
